to the Bilbrook Junior Football Club website .......
Bilbrook Junior Football
Club are one of the biggest junior football clubs in Staffordshire and
the West Midlands, and are affiliated to the Staffordshire F.A. We
currently have 19 teams in the Stourbridge
& District Youth League, Bilston
Partnership Youth Football League
and Midland
Junior Premier League.

Womens League , 1 Girls
team in
the South
Staffs
Young Womens League and 1 team
in the Central
Warwickshire Girls Football League . We were founded in 1978 with the objective of
providing local
youngsters with the opportunity to enjoy playing football both in
training and competitive matches. From an initial team in the early
days the Club has grown steadily to the size it is today, catering for
300 boy's and girl's from under 7's to under 18's. In December 2005 we
were delighted to have achieved "The FA Charter Standards
Community Club" award. This
displaying
the serious
commitment our Club has to the youngsters, their parents, the local
community and to grassroots football.

They
stand on the field with their hearts beating fast, the whistle has
blown, the die has been cast. Mom and Dad cannot help, they stand all alone, a goal at this
moment would send the team home.A ball at their feet, they kick and it misses, theres a moan from the crowd, some boos and some hisses. A thoughtless voice cries "take off the bum" tears fill their eyes, it,s no longer fun. If you have ever been tempted to shout or to groan, just think its a child who stands all alone So open your hearts and give them a break, its moments like this that players you make. Keep this in mind please do not forget, they are only children, not adults yet. |
